Session packs and appointments

Your assistant should not cost a second licence

The big scheduling tools charge per user. Calendly lists 10 dollars per user per month on its Standard plan — so the person who runs your calendar for you means paying for two. Sessionpass is 19 kroner a month for the whole practice, however many people log in.

The tracker works in your browser right now, no account needed. Online booking and Vipps payment links are what we are building next.

Three things people actually complain about

This is not guesswork. These are the points that came up again and again in one- and two-star reviews of Calendly and Acuity Scheduling on Trustpilot.

The seat price

One review describes having to pay for two standard subscriptions just to add a person who helps manage the meetings. Your assistant is not a new customer. She is the same practice.

The cancellation

Several people describe charges that continued after they stopped using the service, and a cancellation flow that requires signing in with an email address they no longer have. One writes that it took three years to get the subscription stopped.

Your data

At Acuity, API access — the way out with your own client list — sits behind the most expensive plan. Your clients are yours. Taking them with you should not be an upgrade.

How Sessionpass answers that

One price, as many logins as you need

19 kroner a month for the practice. Your assistant, your stand-in and your bookkeeper cost nothing extra. There is no more expensive plan to be nudged towards, because there are no other plans.

Session packs are built in, not an add-on

Ten treatments paid for up front is how half this trade actually takes money. Here it is a column in the system: the card counts down when the appointment has happened, and you can see who has how many left.

One-click export, always

Everything you put into the tracker below downloads as a single file, today, without giving us an email address. That is the point: a service that is easy to leave has to earn the fact that you stay.

The session-pack tracker

Add a client and how many treatments the pack covers. Press “Use one” when the appointment has happened. The table lives in your own browser — no account, no email, nothing sent anywhere.

No packs yet. Add your first client above — it takes ten seconds, and nothing is sent anywhere.

The packs live in this browser. Download them if you are switching machines — the file is yours.

The price

19 kr

a month for the whole practice

  • Unlimited logins — assistant, stand-in, bookkeeper
  • Session packs that count themselves down
  • Export of everything you have entered, whenever you want
  • No setup fee, no lock-in, no pricier plan to be moved onto

For comparison: Calendly lists 10 dollars per user per month on its Standard plan. You plus one assistant is 20 dollars a month — for two logins to the same calendar.

The price is what the service costs to run plus a thin margin. It is not an introductory offer, and it is not per user. If it ever has to go up, this page will say so before it does.

There is nothing to pay for today. The session-pack tracker is free, and the subscription only starts once booking and the Vipps links are in place — the price is here now so you can do the arithmetic before you commit to something else.

See what it costs

What works now, and what does not

Works today

  • The session-pack tracker on this page: add cards, use a session, undo, delete
  • Export and import of everything as a JSON file you own
  • The guides, in Norwegian and English

What we are building

  • A booking page with open slots clients can pick from
  • A Vipps payment link for single sessions and for packs
  • Logins, unlimited per practice
  • Automatic deduction when a booked appointment has happened

We write it this way on purpose. A booking system that does not book yet has no business claiming otherwise on its front page.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost more when my assistant needs her own login?

No. The price is 19 kroner a month for the practice, and the number of logins does not change it. That is the whole reason Sessionpass exists.

Where are my session packs stored?

In your browser, on the machine you are sitting at. Nothing is sent to us and there is no account to create. If you move to another machine, you bring the export file.

Can I take payment with Vipps?

Not yet. Vipps links for single sessions and packs are the next thing we build. Until then the tracker is there to keep order in the packs you have already sold.

What happens if I want to stop?

You download your file and close the tab. There is no cancellation form demanding an email address you no longer have.

Who is this for?

One person selling appointments: a massage therapist, physio, personal trainer, alternative practitioner, tutor or coach. Often with one assistant who runs the calendar.
